Karnataka suspended IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar after his arrest in the CID probe into alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission recruitment examination for 400 veterinary officer posts.

The ED previously searched 21 locations in Karnataka and Ahmedabad in a money-laundering investigation linked to alleged KPSC veterinary recruitment irregularities. The searches included the KPSC office, residences, alleged middlemen, selected candidates and the digital evaluation company.
