By idmahamad sekh

New Delhi, September 7, 2026: Light rain in Delhi has brought relief from heat and helped improve air quality, with the city recording its second-best Air Quality Index reading of 2026, according to reports.
Rain can temporarily reduce airborne dust and particulate pollution, although the improvement may not last once weather conditions change.
The weather development comes as the capital continues to deal with the wider challenges of monsoon conditions, traffic disruption and urban infrastructure safety.
