Commercial LPG prices changed for September 2026, with IndianOil listing new 19-kg cylinder rates across the four metros. The household 14.2-kg Indane rates shown by IndianOil remained at the levels last updated in June.

• Delhi: ₹2,747.50
• Kolkata: ₹2,884.00
• Mumbai: ₹2,701.00
• Chennai: ₹2,916.50

What about households?

IndianOil’s metro table for the 14.2-kg non-subsidised Indane cylinder was still marked as last updated on June 7, 2026: Delhi ₹942, Kolkata ₹968, Mumbai ₹941.50 and Chennai ₹957.50. The commercial revision should therefore not be described as a nationwide domestic LPG hike.

Why commercial LPG matters

The 19-kg cylinder is widely used by restaurants, hotels, caterers and commercial kitchens, so changes can affect operating costs and potentially consumer prices.

Other fuels

CNG and PNG prices are set separately by city-gas distributors. A commercial LPG revision should not be treated as a national CNG or PNG price change.
